Can the shaolins monks defeat the mongolian army of genghis khan? Is it true that the tatars the trashed the shaolin pagoda including the monks in it when the mongols invaded china?

No where did you hear that?
Northern barbarian invaders invaded henan province during the start of the shaolin temple.400ad Im not sure if the shaolin temple was attacked but the temple survived to this day or at least untill it was trashed by a rebel warlord in the 1920's.Also during the Qing dynasty the imperial army attacked it with thousand of troops who used cannons .

However Shaolin monks saved the Prince of Tang LI SHI MIN from capture and he started the greatest Dynasty Ever Tang.He was so great and benevolent that even his enemies called him the son of heaven. He knew martial arts well.
Also the General of Song dynasty Yue fei Trashed the Juzhen Jin armies which were attacking from the north. He started Eagle Claw style Kung fu.

Shaolins would be unbeatable. They are a class apart. Cant compare the illiterate, semi barbarian hordes of mongols with highly educated, disciplined & committed spiritual fighters.

You can't be serious? Literacy and spiritual commitment has nothing to do with it, they'd be peltered with arrows from a distance and then ridden down.

Well your comparing maybe 100 fighters to an army of 100,000 horse archers. Its a given who would win. Theres no doubt that the in melee combat they Shaolin monk would win. This has been proved throughout history.

Or not. Every Shaolin would have to kill 1,000 men each. Aside from that Mongols dont get into combat and Shaolin dont have good enough horses. The Shaolin would be shot to pieces then ridden down.
