whose the better special forces unit?
id have to say spetznaz has (had?) the edge, they get more brutal, punishing training than just about anyone.

None of the above.
The Red Berets. You know you're badass when you go in before an invasion and lay the groundwork for it.
Therefore, Red Berets > Green Berets + Spetznaz... And isn't there another t in there somewhere?

Funny thing is green barets are american not UK or Aussie. In a green barets vs spetsnaz it has to be spetsnaz all the way. As a rule though most nato nations special forces wear green barets, just like paratroopers wear maron barets and military police wear red barets.

No I think not, spetznaz is the term for russian special forces green barets are american special forces. That is they are named spetznaz and green barets, even if they are abreviations.
