The walls and roof have been covered with polished silver, glass, coloured tiles and other things.

No one checks if you're Muslim or not, lol. I went to the Shah Cheragh in Shiraz in 2003, they were doing repairs and there were people all over the place praying, and I didn't no in which direction to walk and was going in every direction, my foot hit some guy's praying stone and sent it to the other side of the building! He had his eyes closed and was in that parying position and didn't notice... I made a sharp exit.

The one in Tehran I've been to. I always liked the architecture of these, but the glass I always thought was a bit over the top.

From economical poit of view-it shows the wealth of those who built it,from my point of view-its a bit kitsch.

It's a joke, they were obviously spending millions repairing this place and not 10 metres outside this pompous and over extravagant mosque walls there were beggars!

It defies the Law of Diffusion, which then must be bad. Molecules move from higher concentration to less concentration, but wealth move from less concentration to higher concentration.

this is wrong the only one in Iran forbidden for non muslims is the shrine of Imam Al-Ridha(as) in Mashhad. This is coz he is an Imam and then consider as infaillible. And it is only the room where is the burial chamber with the grave in it. But even non muslims go, since they dont check if you are muslim or not
All emamzadeh(as) as the those in Tehran and Shiraz, are allowed for everybody.
